Be 1 of the 10 To Save America

God asked Abraham in the Bible to find ten righteous people; then, He would save Sodom and Gomorrah from destruction.

Surely, ten righteous people can be found in any and all of our broad and bountiful counties of America. That's what we are doing, finding them. Thus, saving America.

God requested Abraham to find ten good people, and then He would save Sodom and Gomorrah from destruction. That same admonishment could be given to us in America. Really, to find ten good people in America not impossible. Thus, we shall reverse the decline of this country.

We might ask, "Is it true that God loves America?" Considering how America was miraculously helped through many dark days in her history, we could at least say that God has us in His heart.

In America, we've honored God by stamping a heart-warming motto on all our coins and dollar bills, "In God We Trust."

In our Pledge of Allegiance, young and old pronounce everyday in classrooms and civic assemblies across our nation that we are "one nation under God." This bold declaration is something of a commitment to live up to.

In our Declaration of Independence, we respectfully invoke "The Creator," who endowed us all equally with inalienable rights.

We have a beautiful song that all Americans know and love, "God, Bless America!"

Often during the Revolutionary War in 1776, George Washington would pray, walking out from his camp, for this future land of America, beseeching "The Invisible Hand" to guide his steps.

At the founding of this country, toward the close of the first Constitutional Convention in 1787, when nerves were stretched, delegates were sweating in the summer heat, and arguments weren't getting resolved, at such a moment, Benjamin Franklin stood up. He called for prayer. He asked, "If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without the Lord's notice, can a nation rise without His aid?"

If it be so that our nation could not rise without the Lord's aid, then surely our nation could not fall without the Lord's notice. The Lord, who invested in this nation's well-being, would be interested to see if His investment was paying off, to see how we've multiplied His blessings on this land.

So, at that moment Benjamin Franklin called upon the Founders to pray. Now, the time is just as critical. Today's circumstances in America will show whether or not God's investment will produce abundance or be wasted. Please pray with us, together, for America.
